3/10 – BPBC Update

Blessings in Christ Jesus,

I hope and pray that this has been a blessed week for each of you. May we continue to pray for opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him, as well as opportunities to further advance the faith and heal the nations.

Before I share our weekly praises and prayers I want to provide some important announcements and resources. Firstly, did you know that today, March 10th, 2017 marks 4 years to the date that I was voted in as pastor at The Blue Point Bible Church. Surely a celebratory thing in my life.

Tomorrow morning’s Bible Study (Saturday) will be canceled.

Also, on Sunday there is the Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Attached to this email you will find some details. Each year I am assured by the local officials that those trying to get to church will have no issues getting through. Please express that to anyone if/or you find yourself having difficulties getting to BPBC.

As we go through the Lenten season I hope you have been challenging yourself to grow in His grace and knowledge by adding some things to your walk with Christ. I watched/ listened to a great podcast on leadership and productivity this past week and want to share that link with you.

Here is the link to the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkeBdO-e_Qg

Our Revelation Revealed Bible Conference is right around the corner. Wow! Prayerfully you are excited and ready to be challenged, as well as enjoy the fellowship we do every year. Here are two links that will clue you in as to the events, speakers, and times relating to the conference.

P.S. – I had advised everyone to begin listening to the 2 sermons on the Holy Spirit preached by Mr. Max King. We will be reviewing, discussing, and working through some of those details in our Adult Sunday School. Here is a link that will take you to those sermons, http://www.bibleprophecy.com/mp3/?&pg=4

3/4 – BPBC Update

Blessings in Christ,

I hope to hear that each of you had a blessed week full of opportunities to lift up praise. Since we have begun the Lent season I do hope that I may have inspired some if not all of you top begin adding something to your life to further increase your joy and satisfaction in Him. I know I am always read to add Spiritual disciplines to my life to that will increase my thinking on things of God (cf. Philippians 4:8). Prayerfully, you found opportunity to watch my video about Lent on social media.

I want to share some resources and updates with you before I list our praises and prayers. I know most if not all of us are excited about the upcoming Revelation Revealed Conference & Debate happening at The Blue Point Bible Church on March 24th-26, 2016. You can review an updated agenda at the following link, https://powerofpreterism.wordpress.com/2017/01/09/revelation-revealed-bible-conference-march-24-26th-2017/

This week I had shared quite a few resources. Here is a link to one update I shared:

https://powerofpreterism.wordpress.com/2017/02/27/preterist-resources-holy-spirit-more/

Also, I have to offer up praise for the opportunities in ministry I am given through the reforming efforts of Preterism. I am offered opportunity after opportunity to encourage other ministers and ministries and see the fruit of His truth come about as many Christians come to find clarity in Full Preterism. In the link I will share below I detail the issues and propose some solutions to leading and pastoring within the Full Preterist Movement. I also include a review of Pastor Daniel Rogers’ book, The Last Enemy and the Triumph of Christ. 2/25 – BPBC Update

Blessings in Christ,

I pray that each of you had an insightful and productive week finding satisfaction in Him. We will be talking more about exactly that tomorrow morning, 2/26 at The Blue Point Bible Church. Seeking and finding satisfaction in Him. Ultimate this will be our message for “Lent”.

9AM – Adult Sunday School

10AM – Fellowship Time

10:30AM – Worship Service

Also, remember tomorrow after our Worship Service I have asked out BPBC Membership to stay behind to vote on some crucial matters – Mr. Andy Diaz being voted as a member and the opportunity for our church to participate in Brentwood Hope Day in June 2017.

Last Sunday in our Adult Sunday School we did some talking and planning for a study on the Holy Spirit. I had mentioned not wanting to go too far ahead of what we have been dealing with in regards to the Jewish understanding of Ages, however I did say I would send some sermons from Mr. Max King on the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately due to the hacking that recently occurred in the Preterist community, those files will be a bit delayed.

See you all tomorrow, as we shall not forsake….

In Service to Him,

Pastor Michael Miano

BPBC – Revelation Bible Conference

March 24th- 26th, 2017

Important Details Mentioned in the Sermon:

“In my name,” “In Jesus’ name,” or “In his name.” are phrases we see all throughout the Bible. As one sermon on the topic noted (and don’t worry this quote is in your bulletin)..The devils were powerless because of his name (Luke 10:17). The demons were cast out in his name (Mark 16:17-18). Healing occurred in his name (Acts 3:6, 3:16, 4:10). Salvation comes in his name (Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:13). We are to baptize in his name (Matt. 28:19). We are justified in his name (1 Cor. 6:11). Everything we do and say is done in his name (Col. 3:17)”.

John 14:13-14; John 16:23-24; John 20:31; 1 John 5:14-15
Jesus Christ spoke with authority (cf. Matthew 7:29; Mark 1:22).

2/3 – Update

Blessings in Christ Jesus,
I don’t know about you but I am excited to take on February 2017. I believe God has blessings and obstacles waiting for each of us individually and all of us collectively and am excited to see God further reveal His faithfulness.
I wanted to provide some further thoughts on salvation (as I had preached about it this past Sunday at BPBC) and provide some resources on that topic for you as well. I have a couple of Facebook notes that I had written on the topic of Salvation. You will find those links below. However I just wanted to share some highlights from those notes as I reviewed last night and this morning.
“According to 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, we believe in vain if we do not believe the message that Paul preached, and in Galatians 1:6-9, the man who preaches and throws people into confusion with another gospel other than the gospel that was preached by the Apostles is ETERNALLY CONDEMNED. Yikes! That is enough incentive for me to make sure that I am in line with the teaching of the Apostles.” – Pastor Michael Miano
In my studies of Scripture and following proper Biblical interpretation and context I have seen that Biblical salvation always has to do with God being understood as King!
I mentioned a bit this past Sunday that coming to a truly salvific moment requires work of the Spirit of God and is a work done in those He calls and elects. Natural theology as it has come to be known is to be rejected, and as some scholars have noted it comes close to “robbing God of His glory” when we say that man can come to truly know God by observing nature.
There is a damaging trend in the Christian Church – the ‘knowledge of God’ has been turned into “religious feel good messages/ cliches” and a captivation with having a partially-sanitized self-righteousness (you know- it’s all about not smoking, not drinking, and not doing the things the ‘big bad world does’). Instead the knowledge of God should be leading us to worldview apologetics (1 Peter 3:15), namely asking ourselves and others what source of knowledge and wisdom is lead our lives? Are we falling in love with our Creator by the revealing of Himself and His Will, or falling into false narratives?

Also, here is a great video presentation done by a brother with a beautiful accent on fulfilled covenant salvation –https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADKqHVYlXAg
**Remember our Adult Sunday School now starts at 9AM. Also, feel free to join us for a Saturday Bible Study anytime, we follow the dates and reading at the following link,http://oneyearbibleonline.com/weekly-one-year-readings/?version=49&startmmdd=0101

1/13 Update

Blessings in Christ,

I pray that this email finds you all having a blessed day, surely Friday the 13th has various superstitions following it. May our Lord be glorified through our thoughts of Him throughout the day (creating a “superstition” of our own).

I know for me the week felt a bit out of order, noting that we did not gather this past Sunday. I thank those of you who have been in prayer for the Pace/ Glynn family at the passing into another dimension of Mr. Lonnie Pace. It’s a praise that the family has acknowledged the noted presence of our prayers. Also, we have a praise that Terri’s mom’s surgery, which we had been praying for went well. Terri expressed heartfelt thanks for the prayer warriors at BPBC.

I wanted to share some brief announcements:

Tomorrow’s Saturday Morning Bible Study will be canceled. I apologize, however last minute I realized I had some prior commitments.

Prayerfully you are continuing with a Bible reading plan. While we are not meeting as a grou., you can surely continue or “catch up” with your reading by reviewing the plan we have decided to follow in our Saturday Mornings. Here is a link, http://oneyearbibleonline.com/weekly-one-year-readings/?version=51&startmmdd=0101

Earlier today I was able to get back on track with my Miano Gone Wild Online Radio program in which I detailed some of the reading in a summaried fashion. Here is the link for your listening, http://www.mianogonewild.com/video/40/mgw-online-radio-authentic-2017-including-an-interview-with-mr-jeff-rogers

Also, I hope each of you found opportunity to watch the video sermon I posted for last Sunday regarding the renewing of our minds the the importance, as well as the value of Scripture. Here is a link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFO1TLecx0I

I look forward to seeing each and all of you this coming Sunday at The Blue Point Bible Church. Adult Sunday School at 9:30AM & Worship Service begins at 10:30AM.

In Service to Him,

Pastor Michael Miano
