Sermon Notes:
We open up our Bible and read that “In the beginning God created” and what He created He called good. We only have to go a few chapters to find that which God created and called good was and is destroyed by corrupted minds of men (and women). This would lead to utter despair, “But Noah…”.
Genesis 6:8 tells us ” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”. Not only did he find grace but he endeavored to live justly and righteously, obeying the commands of the Lord.
Might we discern that our greatest hope is found not in what we think is good, or even the good we might dream up, but rather in knowing and living in the grace of God.
In our generation, can it be said of you, “But ______________ (insert your name) found grace in the the eyes of the Lord”?
