Blessings in Christ,
I hope and trust that this was an enjoyable week and that each of you found joy in the summer weather, all the while finding reprieve from being too hot in the sun.
A few announcements;
We had our 2025 Semi-Annual Meeting last night, 6/27. Here is a summarized portion regarding what we covered in the meeting;
We were glad to note that much of what we discussed at the 2025 Annual Meeeting was accomplished, irrelevant, or was planned to be touched on throughout the meeting. In Old Business we discussed the Pastoral Vision of “Being Present & On Purpose” and how the “Hub of Help” ties into that. Pastor Mike expressed gratitude for all who have helped (in the variety of ways) and exclaimed that is has proven to be a success. The room heaters were fixed and the fire alarm system is connected to central station. We have had some successful fundraising and plan to continue (a few ideas were put on the table for planning and consideration). Discussion regarding the gutters and other building maintanence were had with Elder Steve explaining why some of the work has been put on hold. Rachanda brought up discussion regarding the Ladies Bible Study & Luncheon, plans condusive to fellowship will be made for the future. Our New Business was centered on calendar planning & fundraising. A vote was taken regarding setting up an accual account to manage funds for insurance expenditure. In our Open Forum portion, Rachanda shared ideas regarding ‘Adopting-A-Family’ (which will plan for closing to ‘Back To School’ and she reminded everyone to pass out church activity fliers that are often in our church foyer.
Tonight, Saturday, June 28th we gathered down by the Blue Point Dock (at the end of Blue Point Ave) for our summer weekly event, Hymns at the Bay. We gather for a short time of fellowship & worship at 7:45pm. We plan to do this each Saturday (weather-permitting) throughout the summer season. See attached graphic.
Tomorrow, Sun., 6/29, we will gather for Adult Sunday School at 9am & Worship Service at 10:30am. See & share the attached graphic.
(There will be no Breaking Bread & Gathering in the evening, as we had invited everyone to attend the Duck’s Game and watch Kaiden and his class sing, “God Bless, America”.)

We continue to trust God’s sovereignty and wonderful providence in keeping us healthy and fit for His service, as well as for Him to hear our prayers, and provide healing, strength, encouragement, and peace of mind where it is needed. We lift up our friends and famiy members and any situations they might be in. We thank God for sustaining and guiding our efforts, especially as we endeavor to serve our neighbor, that there be no neeey among us. We pray travel mercies for those traveling. We praise our mighty God for all He has and continues to provide for the building up of His Church. In Jesus’ name we pray.
I look forward to study, worship, praise, prayer, and fellowship to be had tomorrow.
By and for His glory alone,
Pastor Michael Miano
