Blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus,
I trust each of us had a week full of fellowship, food, and most all “thanksgiving”. If you celebrated the tradition with friends and family, or if you simply maintained a spirit of thanksgiving, I hope you have come to the end of the week feeling blessed. We had a God-honoring and personally enriching time gathering for Pre-Thanksgiving Thanks on Wednesday night and many helped with deliving plates of food on Thanksgiving (a full report on Sunday). Speaking of coming to the end of something and feeling blessed, let me remind you and perhaps invite you, tomorrow, Suday, November 30th is our Annual Harvest Dinner at The Blue Point Bible Church. Join us starting at 6:30pm for an evening of fellowship & food, marked by a review of the year and all that has been accomplished in and through our church.
(See and share attached graphic).
Tomorrow’s, November 30th, Sunday schedule will go as follows;
- 9am – Adult Sunday School
- 10:30am – Worship Service (we will be concluding our Fall Sermon Series on ‘Spiritual maturity’.
- 6:30pm – Annual Harvest Dinner (Join us, feel free to bring a dish (anything), and invite others)
A few resources for your edification;
At the following link you will find our Sunday Sermon Review, Church And/As Family, https://www.bluepointbiblechurch.org/?p=4060
The sermon was concluded by a corporate gathering in the hallway to honor Dr. Victoria Chua with the dedication of the Fellowship Room in her name. You can read a press release and find pictures from that time at the following link (video footage coming soon), https://www.bluepointbiblechurch.org/?p=4052
We continue to pray and trust God for healings and good results of tests or medical procedures among those in our congregation, including but not limited to, Deacon Ed, Deacon Brian, Meredith (& Larry), Vicki, and Rachanda. We pray for those in prison, those suffering in any way, especially mental health, especially but not limited to this holiday season. We pray for those who are mourning and ask God for wisdom to provide comfort and to wisdom as we mourn with them. We thank God for what we have individually and collectively, as well as who we are individually and collectively, and are grateful to find ways to use what we have and our very lives to make the world a better place, especially through our mindsets and acts of service. In Jesus’ name, amen.
I look forward to a Sunday full of shared wisdom and fellowship to be had at The Blue Point Bible Church. I look forward to seeing you there, whether it’s for Adult Sunday School (9am, Worship Service (10:30am), or our Annual Harvest Dinner (6:30pm).
For & for the glory of God,
Pastor Michael Miano
