Blessings in Christ,
I trust that each of you had a blessed start to the week. Of course, we lament and pray regarding much of the violaence, hatred, antagonism, and wickednesss that is manifest in the world. However, we must always remember what our Lord said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but fear not, I have overcome the world”.
Today, I ask you to keep me in prayer as I travel with New Hour For Women and Children to Albany to advocate and lobby on behalf of the CARE Act. You can read about the act and how it is currently on the NYS Assembly floor at the following link, https://legislation.nysenate.gov/pdf/bills/2025/A4879A
This week at The Blue Point Bible Church we have the currently schedule;
Thursday, 1/29, we will host the “Hub of HELP” from 10:30am – 4pm.
We are always welcoming and in need of volunteers to help set up, sort and organize, greet guests and help out, as well as clean up.
Friday, 1/30, we will have our BPBC Annual Meeting at 7pm.
We encourage all to join us – members, attendees, and those interested in learning about the Pastoral Vision and engaging our future plans for the glory of God and the building up of the church.
This past Sunday we continued going through the MIRACULOUS Sermon Series, particulaly taking a look at the healing of the nobleman’s son in John 4:46-54. We marked out the importace of living lives as those who have been raised from the dead to newness of life – as some might call it “Practicing Resurrection”. A sermon review will be sent out later today and the sermon upload, will be available tomorrow at the SERMONS tab on our website (www.bluepointbiblechurch.org).
I look forward to the day and weel ahead. Might you find yourself ‘loving from a pure heart, maintaining a good conscience, and possessing a sincere faith, which after all is the “goal of our instruction” (see, 1 Timothy 1:5).
By the goodness and grace of God,
Pastor Michael Miano
